Welcome to Airplane Jam!

After I learned my web sites are going to be inaccessible for a few weeks while I transfer all the files to a new computer, I decided to create Airplane Jam. Since most of my web time has been with www.aeroknow.com and since I want to keep postingf aviation news while the other sites are down, here is where I will do the posting. News and notes intended for my ArtsLinks pages will be posted at my Writers-Chronicle blog.

If we've not met, and even if we have, you should know that when I'm not writing and taking pictures of darn near anything for a living and writing poems and songs, mostly to entertain my living room walls, I am an aviation historian, plastic model airplane builder, and ready to go flying at the slightest invitation. There is only one thing I'd rather be doing than flying, and there's nothing I'd rather be doing with my socks on.

If you want to talk about aviation in central Illinois, air shows, aviation history and model building, share your questions, constructive thoughts, opinions and news of aviation events in the comments area, or e me directly so I can share with others who read this blog. If you know other aviation blogs, please post the news in the comments or e me directly.

Wishing you CAVU and greasers forever!
